Police release name of woman killed in Saturday crash

A woman was killed in a Saturday night crash in Northwest Rochester.
Rochester Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 18th Avenue Northwest and Crimson Ridge Drive Northwest shortly after 9 p.m.
Police said the driver of a southbound Jeep Wrangler rear-ended a Toyota Camry that had turned south onto 18th Avenue Northwest.
Joharmi Rubio, 24, a passenger in the Toyota, was found unresponsive at the scene. First responders attempted CPR on her, but were unable to revive her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

ROCHESTER, Minn. - The Rochester Police Department responded to a fatal rear-end crash.
A Toyota Corolla was rear-ended by a Jeep Wrangler at the intersection of 18th Avenue NW and Crimson Ridge.
Rochester Fire Department extricated the passenger from the Corolla, 24-year-old Joharmi Rubio. CPR was attempted, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, her husband, 27-year-old Luis Rubio Lunar, did not appear to be significantly hurt.
The driver of the Jeep, 27-year-old Matthew Shaver, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in critical condition.
