I, too, did receive a lot of information from other organizations, northern station, there was a survey of is 37 people, 95 were in favor. I dont like to put in numbers, how many were in favor, how many were not. As a commissioner, when i first heard it, i had some concerns. Well, wed like to have some more crisis intervention training, wed like to have video. All our officers have cameras. The cameras all have videos. Crisis intervention training, over 900 officers are fully c. I. T. Trained, and by the time this is implemented i think it will be closer to 1300, which is the majority of officers that are out on the streets. This is working, and im very proud of how our officers have changed that
The Paratransit Program is required to provide service that complements the muni service and so the and thats under the a. D. A. Requirements and guidelines and so Paratransit Service goes generally threequarters of a mile around where muni goes, and the muni lines and the muni service and if a person that has a trip that is outside of that they can take their paratransit to wherever the end of the end of that border is, that service area, and then i would suggest they could continue on, but then theyd be responsible for paying for that portion of the trip. Yeah, i think that is an interesting point because it also eats up a lot of time and paratransit has a specific schedule theyre bound to by routes and those things dont always match up so thinking about consumers with disabilities and maybe physical disabilities as well and vision issues and fatigue and any other things that might come up, i think that theyre doing their best to kind of figure out the solution to get to where they n
Allegations and then if the allegations are true, if the alleged conduct would violate city criteria, policy and procedure or city code does that answer the first part . Substantiated or unsubstantiated are both inside the closed category. And in the quarterly and annual reports it breaks down it breaks out by department. Theres a table in quarterly reports or chart showing which percentage of complaints closed led to Department Taking corrective or preventive action. Or even it shows whether or not the department moves on the recommendation of the whistleblower controller office, somewhat outside your control. But at least you can measure accurately the number of recommendations measured against the overall complaints, you said to the department we have investigation pursuant to the authority, we recommend disciplinary action to whatever department and they can be measured. I want to thank the entire team here for hosting us for this event. This is a special day. We are doing the Fourth Annual launch of the mayors shop and dine in the 49 local shopping campaign. This is a really big deal because it is a partnership between a great many members of the Small Business community and the neighborhood throughout the city focused on helping san franciscans spend more money in our local commercial corridors and at Small Businesses in San Francisco. But it is also an opportunity to celebrate the entrepreneurs that are making that keep San Francisco strong, that are keeping the city thriving and vie brand.
