Burlington, IA- The results of Tuesday's combined City/School election are in. In Tuesday's race, all three Burlington City Council incumbents were re-elected to the council. Mayor Jon Billups received 1,480 votes, Mayor Pro-temp Lynda Graham Murray received 1,070 votes, and Councilman Matt Rinker received 1,055 votes. In the Burlington School board election, the individuals elected to the three available seats are Scott Mason with 1,404 votes, Darven Kendell with 1,149 votes, and Christi Burghoffer with 766 votes. Also, Burlington residents have voted to renew the city option sales tax.
