Gov. Hogan good morning. We now have 288 confirmed cases of covid19 in our state. Over the past weekend, we saw a 678 increase in positive cases. We now have cases in 21 out of 24 of marylands jurisdictions. Sadly, a Montgomery County woman in her 40s became the third marylander so far to have died as a result of the coronavirus. There are now 635 cases in the Capital Region of maryland, d. C. And virginia. 32,000 cases across america and more than 342,000 cases around the globe. Over the past several weeks, we have taken some swift, decisive, unprecedented actions in our state in order to slow the spread of covid19 and to save lives. I just want to take a moment to thank the overwhelming majority of marylanders who have taken this situation seriously and who have remained at home, avoided crowds, and practiced muchneeded social distancing. A Prince Georges County resident in his 60s with Underlying Health conditions, and no known travel history. This maryland or was infected with a virus through community transmission. And i know that all marylanders joined me in praying for his family and his loved ones. Unfortunately, we are only at the beginning of this crisis. And while this is the first death here in maryland, unfortunately, it will not be the last. Have this morning, we now 107 confirmed cases of covid19 here in maryland, and 88 increase an 88 increase in the last 48 hours. Among todays new cases is a fiveyearold girl in Howard County who has tested positive for covid19. The first case of a child contracting the virus here in maryland. Morning, there are more than 220 confirmed cases in the washington region here in maryland, washington, d. C. And virginia. And 9500 cases across the country and more than 220,000 case

How many latino voters will be eligible to vote in 2020 and compare that with the last president ial cycle. This year we project is going to be 32 million latinos will be at least 18 years of age by the november election. Thats up from 27 and ahalf million in 2016. Its over 4 million since 2016 and thats been the pattern over the last few election cycles. An additional 4 million latinos become eligible to vote mostly by aging and so that speaks to the youth of the electorate but many who are naturalized or immigrants areadults who have a green card and decide to become a us citizen. How are they able to vote if they were not born here . They would need to naturalized to become a us citizen but the two become a us citizen it
