Alison this snow mound, you can see how big it is here behind me the snow thats been pushed off the roads as an indication of just how hard the plows have been working today. If you look over here at the roads, you can see theyre clear and all the snow for the most part has been pushed off to the side and the streets looking pretty good. It was a digout day after the storm and the dig to clear the roads went smoother than most anyone thought it would. I went out this morning i think at about 8 00 and they were still covered. Now they look great. There were ton of plow trucks out there. I was surprised at the amount of trucks they had this time. The work for the clearing streets was done. Help us. Thank you steve. A frigid february saw the second highest number of water main breaks in the history of wssc. During the month, crews had to repair 426 water mains in the wssc service area. Thats second only to february of 2007 when 479 mains burst. The average for february is just 132. According to records that date back 40 years.
