Adam Loker, recent Wayne City High School graduate and member of the Wayne City FFA Chapter, was elected State FFA President yesterday at the State FFA Convention. He was Section 23 President this past year and graduated as a co-valedictorian from Wayne City in May. Per ilaged.org, he is the first major state officer from Wayne City in the current FFA structure. The Wayne County Board met last night and heard from County Highway Engineer Dennis Seidel, who said a team from IDOT had concluded a site visit at the intersection of Enterprise Road and Route 161. He believes they will recommend a four-way stop with a hanging-pendulum style stop light, and he anticipates a detailed report from IDOT in the near future.
