Dont panic, just prepare and we will be already. So, the the blizzard watch happened yesterday, not Weather Service at the 10 30 said were under blizzard watch. This is baltimore Washington Area under a blizzard warning. They will get it first. This is winter storm warning in lancaster county, winter storm watches to the the south of us and to the north of us where we expect less a accumulation, here, in the south because of a mixing with rain, to the north and west because it is further a away, from this coastal storm, and the the high wind watch we will talk about that, probably upgraded to a high win warning now. So this storm didnt look like much of anything 24 hours ago and now it is forming into a force to be reckon with and the leading edge, we will continue to watch this a all morning, it is moving from North Carolina into western virginia. In greensboro we are seeing snow but little further south is there sleet, freezing rain in fayetville North Carolina and South Carolina it
Re floridians almost our inn tire lives but they re glad they don t have to deal with snow but one teacher put her pledge for a snow day through song. Her rendition of a nadele hit coming up adele hit coming up. And of course, adele huge success. Dan she doesn t call much more anymore. Justin doesn t call now . Dan no. We had the fog and saw a spot of sunshine and warmed it up and then it rained last night and some areas like orlando about. 22 of an inch of rain and the much needed rain keeping forest fires down. Now here comes the drama. We ll change the temperatures. Not today so much. However you are going to notice some big time changes. That s going to be in the form of a win. Wind is going to pick up this afternoon and push through and i think 10, 20 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. We re not totally done with the rain. It s still lingering in the st. It continues to transverse across the state, it could brush by areas like that and by noontime i m done. And it s a fifth of an inch of
Ten. We will have increasing cloud and then the the snow begins tonight, so yes, blizzard warning in effect for this area in orange, extend all the way down into maryland, and washington d. C. , and virginia but for us it is pretty much this i95 corridor, includes philadelphia, delco, parts of the chester, montgomery, bucks, new castle, camden, gloucester, salem counties, burlington, ocean, mercer. The these are places where we expect not only snow, but wind along with the snow and that is what will change things from the winter storm watch to the the blizzard watch and now a blizzard warning because here it comes. You can see this storm it has a lot have rain with it to the south in georgia and in South Carolina and then the snow is cranking up in North Carolina, and now moving into martinsville, virginia. Roanoke, you are next. So there is some sleet associated with it and to the south of that rain and those are the types of precipitation we will be dealing with in our area tomorrow
