Vanessa mollie, Ames Police Say an isu female student was hit somewhere here at the intersection of lincoln way and ash avenue just before 7 00 this morning, and they had this area closed off for about two hours as they piece together what happened. Ames police tell us just after 7 00 this morning isu police , office drove up to the intersection and saw a female student lying on the street. She was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center where she died from her injuries. Police say based on the injuries she sustained, they believe it to be a hit and run. At this time, they dont have any witnesses. This morning about that time it was still dark. It was raining pretty hard at that point and so that could happened, but again theres never a reason for someon

Superintendent cortines some of the details talked about backpacks, other packages. Chris police are investigating the threat and did not provide further details. But officials said they are taking the precaution based on recent terror attacks in San Bernardino and overseas. About a dozen members of local union 347 were racing to take down boxes and retrieve miles of chords as the raccoons raced around them. You get up close to it, and all of a sudden it buckles.
