St Mary’s Church in Andover will be open for private prayer to mark the passing of Prince Philip. The church will be open between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, April 10, for anyone wanting to pay their respects or contemplate recent events. The Reverend Chris Bradish, vicar of St Mary’s, said: “Today we have heard the sad news of death of his Royal Highness Prince Philip. “Prince Philip was a man who life, actions and presence shaped and guided our national life, richly contributing to it in so many ways. He was, so it seemed, for so many years the nation’s brother, father, and grandfather.
