In the richest race of the young season at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania, the $50,000 Bobby Weiss Series Championship for three-year-old pacing colts, second choice I Was Tricked downed the previously-unbeaten All Class and held off a pair of longshots in a lifetime best performance.
A pair of 13-1 shots won their $20,000 third and final preliminary divisions of the Bobby Weiss Series at Pocono Downs for three-year-old trotting colts at Mohegan Pennsylvania on a cool Sunday night (April 23).
Despite a surface rated “good” most of the afternoon, fast times and inside-placed speed were the order of the Saturday card at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania.
The Candyman Can and Curious Cortez both continued their strong winning form as they captured the two $16,500 divisions of the top claiming handicap pace on Saturday (Sept. 18) at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono.
