It was a much calmer night on the north side. There were no major reports of property damage. This after a curfew was put in place. And the park closed at 6 last night. Deputies ordered people to leave the park in the evening. And an orange fence was put up around the parks perimeter. Officers were on scene in riot few confrontations with angry protesters that resulted in arrests. But overall people remained peaceful. And that leads us to our Team Coverage this morning. Firefighters report people were trapped on the second and third floors. Officials say a building collapsed and debris indicates an explosion may have taken place. Its still not clear what sparked the possible explosion. New this morning. A 19yearold man is dead after drowning at the Washington Park Swimming Pool late last night. The pool was closed at the time. But police say the man and several of his friends hopped the fence. Police say the man jumped in the pool and had trouble swimming and sank to the bottom.
