TIMELESS TAPESTRY, a group exhibition currently on display at BELLHAUS Atelier & Galerie until 16 March, creates a profound connection between Namibia, its people, and the land.
Photographing the beauty of nature for the past 44 years, East London-based fine art photographer Marlene Neumann is showcasing more than 150 images in her latest exhibition titled Full Circle. Having opened on November 3, the exhibition, run in conjunction with the Ann Bryant Art Gallery, takes place at Neumann’s Vincent-based Centre for Photography and Light.
After reaching its goal of sterilising more than 2,500 dogs, East London’s Buckaroo project is set to scale down its operations. The decision had to be taken after international funders pulled the project’s main income source. Buckaroo founder Marlene Neumann, who runs the project from her home in Vincent Park, started the sterilisation drive with surplus revenue left over from renovations to the East London SPCA in 2014.
