Bradley RJ Gates, 35, of Roaring Spring, died unexpectedly on Monday. He was born in Roaring Spring, the son of Steven L. Gates and Lisa A. (Nofsker) Peel.
He married Tosha A. Dively on June 15, 2013.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, who were his “little buddies,” Silas and Jax; five siblings: Kaitlyn Franks and her husband, Justin, and their daughter, Kayleigh; Meagan Kelly; Matthew Peel and his wife, Annah, and their daughter, Hadlee; Bailey Gates and Jude Gates; and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tanner Gates.
Brad was a 2003 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School.

Elmer Aungst Jr., 97, of East Freedom, died Monday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring, after a brief illness. He was born in Brooks Mills, son of the late Elmer Aungst Sr. and Mabel (Boyer) Aungst.
He married Betty J. Flaugh on March 16, 1943, and she died March 20, 2008.
He is survived by three children: Ronald G. Aungst and wife Georgia of Brooks Mills, Bonnie L. Norris of Indiana, Pa., and Gary L. Aungst and wife Susan of Martinsburg; nine grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wilfred “Bill” Aungst and wife Audrey of Martinsburg.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
