Since the infamous tweet was posted, it was retweeted more than 3,000 times and racked up over 18,000 likes. For a little while, Mark Johnson was the #2 trending topic in the United States and from there the memes exploded. Governor Little got in on it.

While no one, not even THE Mark Johnson himself, will figure out why the out of context tweet took off the way it did, all of us can agree that after what s been an emotionally exhausting year this was exactly the type of silliness we needed in our lives.
