But in all, nine guns were stolen from firefighters cars in charlotte, kannapolis, and greensboro, we asked cmpd if theyve recovered the guns or if they could have been sold, a spokesperson didnt comment saying the case is still under investigation but this doesnt sit well with many people. Attack during a charlotte teenagers walk to school. A 16yearold was forced into a car at gunpoint and then assaulted. The kidnapping happened after 7 00 on conference drive. Less than a half mile from east Mecklenburg High school. Today the victims mother told Eyewitness News reporter mark becker how her son got away. Mark . Alison, she told me that her son walks to east mecklenburg, about a half mile from where were standing when the car approached him right about here. A man with a gun forced him inside.
