Well, rescue and recovery operations are expected to continue this morning in Northern Washington state after a landslide described as a massive wall of mud and debris killed at least eight people. Washingtons governor describes the scene about 55 miles north of seattle as a square mile of total devastation. Its believed at least 18 other are missing. The landslide hit saturday morning. Im disappointed to tell you that after searching a very large area of that debris field on foot, we didnt find anybody alive. There was no sign of life.
