She was on the first leg of a u. S. Backpacking tour alone. Her body was found last saturday morning in Golden Gate Park facedown, a gunshot wound in a wooded area. Enough similarities to a marin murder that would happen two days later to involve san Francisco Police inspectors. After we learned of their homicide and the similarities between the two both are in outdoor areas, ones on a trail, ones at Golden Gate Park, we started working closely with the marin county sheriffs office.
