This week, the Marian Mustangs avenged the loss to Mercy on its way to winning the CHSL Tournament on Thursday. That was then followed up on Saturday by winning the 2023 Beast Of The East Tournament, a 32-team field including 14 teams that are currently ranked or honorable mention in the MIVCA rankings.
Marian extended its reign as CHSL champion to a fourth straight year with a 25-23, 15-25, 25-17, 25-23 over Toledo St. Ursula in Thursday’s Bishop Division tournament championship match at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard.
