A screening of the documentary Pushout: The Criminalization of Black Girls in Schools is set for next Wednesday (Feb. 24). According to the library s website, the film takes a close look at the educational, judicial and societal disparities facing Black girls.
Throughout the entire month, the library is also offering a Black Lives Matter sign-making activity for youth and teens. We re definitely going to be doing more programs for racial justice and Black history throughout the year, Sevilla said. Equity and diversity and inclusion is something that the library is committed to year-round, so that s something that s definitely on the horizon.

In the decade or so since Bitcoin’s inception, its volatility has seen it truly living up to its reputation as a speculative position rather than an investment in something of which one can gain a fundamental understanding.
However, among some other cryptocurrencies, it seems that Bitcoin is here to stay. We asked around to find out if the mortgage industry was any closer to taking it seriously.
The anthology comprises a number of forward-thinking essays written by prominent figures in the sector.
Aside from opinions published by the Twenty7Tec senior management team, other contributors include RT Hon Christopher Pincher MP, Minister of State for Housing David Plumtree and Maria Harris, non-executive director at United Trust Bank amongst many others.

Going forward, the single English language and math achievement indicator will be separated into a performance and an improvement indicator. Deputy Superintendent of Assessment and Accountability Maria Harris said trying to combine a snapshot and a longer-term outlook into a single indicator was complicated. So, we were simply asking this indicator to do too much within one score. So, schools weren’t able to disentangle this information to really focus efforts on how to get all students to improve over time, Harris said.
Blockchain property network Coadjute has appointed Maria Harris and Rob Hailstone as the first members of a new committee of industry leaders to influence the company’s future agenda.
The Coadjute Advisory Board will be chaired by Dan Salmons, chief executive at Coadjute, and will include prominent industry leaders from the property industry and regulated services.
