FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) - A man charged in connection to the murder of a West Fargo teen in May has been sentenced to five years behind bars. Marcus McCuin.
Marcus Rexrode is expected to plead guilty in federal court to a gun charge for firing the fatal shot. In exchange, the state will dismiss the murder charge.
Marcus Rexrode signed a plea deal that said he was a felon in possession of a gun when James Moore attempted to rob him in Fargo. The federal documents raise questions about Rexrode’s murder case.
Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski says although the police department has made great headway so far, the investigation of the death of Moore is not over.
