Reporter good morning, laura. Still no update on the condition of those two officers. I spoke with chp a short while ago. They did confirm the two officers are in the hospital. As you look behind me, this is a patrol car involved in the crash. You can see how hard the back of the patrol car was hit. Investigators have been on scene since midnight. Chp says the collision happened sometime after 11 30 a. M. Last night. This is 880 southbound near winton avenue across from the mall in hayward. Chp says two officers were injured. Again, we dont know how bad their injuries are at this time. We do know that the driver of the other car that hit them was also taken to the hospital.
