The Marblehead Peninsula Lions Club will host an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt this year in lieu of its traditional Easter Egg Hunt, announced Lions President Tod Kelly. The special kids Scavenger Hunt will focus on six area merchants who have been given a basket of 100 eggs to distribute to youngsters on Saturday morning, March 27.
The host businesses will give each visiting child a specific color Easter Egg. The kids, accompanied by parents or an adult, will set off to “collect the rainbow” by visiting each business to get all six different colored eggs. Each egg will be filled with candy and a raffle ticket.
