The win took on added significance, because it was also coach Jim Rudloff s 100th career as Marblehead s football boss. It was only Rudloff s 128th game along the Marblehead sidelines, thus becoming the first Magician gridiron mentor to achieve this milestone in the shortest period of time. Rudloff came to Marblehead from the Beverly Panthers program that was led by current MHS principal Dan Bauer.
