New Marblehead Project 351 ambassador to kick off clothing drive Cradles to Crayons is in dire need of kids clothing donations and Jared Kaplowitch is ready to help Wicked Local The 2020 pandemic took a toll on Cradles to Crayon, but Jared Kaplowitch, with an assist from some friends, is hoping to help soften the blow.  The Veterans Middle School eighth grader has been named the new Project 351 ambassador for Marblehead. Project 351 is a state program aimed at developing the next generation of “community-first service leaders” through youth-led service projects. Ambassadors are chosen from each of the commonwealth’s 351 cities and towns by hometown educators and are “invited to unite, act and lead.”
