Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) took enforcement action against more than 9,000 workplace safety breaches in the first half of 2022, according to a recent report.
The system is not designed to make it more difficult for businesses to hire EP holders, Manpower Minister Dr Tan See Leng and Senior Minister of State Koh Poh Koon have affirmed.
As detailed by Manpower Minister Dr Tan See Leng, the priorities include strengthening support for locals and enhancing retirement adequacy, among others.
