New Zealand vlogger, who has 1.79 million subscribers, was found conducting business activities on a tourist visa.
YouTuber Karl Rock of New Zealand-origin has been restricted from entering India till next year for violating multiple visa norms, government sources confirmed on Saturday.
Sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the vlogger was found doing business activities on a tourist visa, which is in violation of the terms and conditions of his visa. He has, therefore, been restricted from entering India for a year. His visa has also been cancelled by the government.

Karl Rock, a YouTuber originally from New Zealand, alleged that the Indian government has blacklisted him and blocked his entry to the country. He had been living in India for ten years with his wife and family and amassed over 1.79 million followers on his YouTube channel where he shares tips for foreigners travelling to India.

A New Zealand based YouTuber, Karl Edward Rice aka Karl Rock has accused the Indian government of denying him entry without specifying any reason. He also filed a petition in the Delhi High Court asking for his name to be removed from a ‘black list’ so that he can return to India and reunite with his wife, who hails from Haryana.

New Delhi [India], July 10 (ANI): YouTuber Karl Rock of New Zealand-origin has been restricted from entering India till next year for violating multiple visa norms, government sources confirmed on Saturday.
Sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the vlogger, was found doing business activities on a tourist visa, which is in violation of the terms and conditions of his visa and hence been restricted from entering India for a year and his visa has been canceled as well by the government.
Karl Rock, whose real name is Karl Edward Rice, on Friday alleged that the Indian government had last year cancelled his visa without giving him any reason for why he was blacklisted after he left India to travel to Dubai and Pakistan.
