The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a charge sheet against nine accused in a Manipur abduction and murder case, an investigation into which is ongoing.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a chargesheet against nine accused before the Special Judge, CBI Court at Guwahati in an ongoing investigation of a case. A case was registered on a request from Manipur Government & further Notification of Government of India. CBI took over the investigation of the said case/ Crime No. 32(7)/2023 dated 15.07.2023, earlier registered at Lamlai Police Station, Imphal East.
The special court also directed the agency to supply a copy of the FIR to the counsel for the accused. The special court has also allowed the counsel to meet him on alternate days in NIA custody.
