A truck has rolled blocking a section of State Highway One in Hamilton. Emergency services are at a crash, involving a car and a truck, at the Mangaharakeke Drive and Avalon Drive roundabout. The crash happened around 3:04pm. “One person is reported to have sustained serious injuries, and four people have sustained moderate injuries,” a police spokesperson said. “The road is currently blocked as the truck has rolled, and diversions will be put in place.” The road may take a number of hours to clear and motorists are advised to expect delays.
The road has now reopened following this afternoon's crash at the Mangaharakeke Drive (SH1) and Avalon Drive roundabout. Police thank motorists for their patience.
