An East London attorney charged with stealing Road Accident Fund money from his clients caused drama at the East London magistrate’s court on Monday when he fired his lawyer moments before the legal representative was to starting questioning witnesses. Manfred Chinamasa, who is accused of stealing more than R5m of RAF funds from his clients, instead opted to represent himself.
