SOUTH WINDSOR, CT A truck driver from California was arrested Wednesday night after an altercation at a Sullivan Avenue auto parts warehouse, during which he is accused of punching another man and attacking him with wooden nunchucks, according to police.
Maximum Elbey, 34, of Sun Valley, Calif., was charged with illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree assault and third-degree assault. He was held overnight in lieu of $75,000 bond, and was slated to appear Thursday in Manchester Superior Court.
SOUTH WINDSOR, Connecticut (WFSB) A delivery driver is accused of throwing out packages, including medicine for a 6-year-old child, instead of delivering them.
Brianna Bushey, 23, of South Windsor, was arrested on Saturday for charges of third-degree larceny and risk of injury to a minor.
An arrest warrant was issued after police said Bushey was subcontracted by FedEx in March to deliver packages to several addresses in Somers, but failed to do so.
Police said the packages ended up in a dumpster at the South Windsor Volunteer Fire Department on Ellington Road.
They also said one of the packages included medicine for a 6-year-old child.
Connecticut Man Confesses to Killing Wife, Jessica Edwards, After Body Found in Park

Ahead of his first appearance in court on Monday, Tahj Hutchinson, 22, confessed to police that he killed his wife, Jessica Edwards, who was found in a Connecticut park two weeks after she was reported missing.
Hutchinson was arrested on Friday and charged with manslaughter in the first degree, but he could face additional charges pending the completion of the investigation and an autopsy. His arrest came after police located Edwards remains in a park, the culmination of a weeks-long search for her that included K9 units and an examination of Hutchinsons digital footprint.
MANCHESTER, Connecticut (WFSB) A man from South Windsor who is accused of killing his wife is due in court on Monday.
Tahj Hutchinson, 22, was charged last week in connection with the death of Jessica Edwards. He’s due in Manchester Superior Court.
As of Monday morning, the only charge he faced was first-degree manslaughter. Police said more charges could come following autopsy results.
Edwards, a mother of a young child, had been missing for nearly two weeks.
Her body was found on May 21 in a heavily wooded area in East Hartford.
Hutchinson was arrested several hours later.
Friends and family had been desperately searching for the 30-year-old mother.
