Weapons, Assault Charges Filed After Altercation In South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A truck driver from California was arrested Wednesday night after an altercation at a Sullivan Avenue auto parts warehouse, during which he is accused of punching another man and attacking him with wooden nunchucks, according to police.
Maximum Elbey, 34, of Sun Valley, Calif., was charged with illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree assault and third-degree assault. He was held overnight in lieu of $75,000 bond, and was slated to appear Thursday in Manchester Superior Court.
