According to the office of the chief medical examiner, the current confirmed total is 342. 292 of those lost their lives to an opioid overdose. And the state says there are 73 cases pending, awaiting final toxicology reports. That means whatever the final total is it will be far higher than the 326 drug deaths in 2014.
