Nine-year-old man-eater tiger that had killed six persons in Chandrapur of Maharashtra in the last two months has been captured, the officials said on Tuesday
Thrissur (Kerala), Dec 19 (PTI) The tiger which had attacked and killed a 36-year-old man in Vakeri in Wayanad district of the state earlier this month, was brought by forest officials to the quarantine centre at the Puthur Zoological park here on Tuesday.
Forest officials are combing the area with two elephants to spot the tigress that is said to have devoured 18 humans in the past two years in the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve (DTR), six of them since October 2021.
