Reporter that meeting between the president and county and state emergency officials in california wrapped up just minutes ago. Emergency officials spoke and informed the president of the 20 night significant active wildfires that are currently bring across our state. As we know, those fires have claimed lives, destroyed thousands of homes and have left much of Northern California and really a lot of the metro areas across the west coast in a constant cloud of smoke and unhealthy air. Happening right now pg e says dangerous fire conditions are prompting and the utility issued that power lines could fall and start fires. Outages started around 3 00. Cal fire said they rescued 13 people so far who were trapped on china peak just after 3 00 this morning. Officials say the smoke cleared up overnight for a helicopter to safely land. The fire has burned over 135,000 acres with no containment. Its been tough work for our pilots, but those aviation crews and our inner Agency Partners on the ground in Fresno County
