In an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, Shiv Sena termed the demand as the biggest joke of the elections. It further says that the injury will cost the BJP ten to twenty seats in West Bengal. Shiv Sena even says that the injury will make Mamata Banerjee more aggressive. Terming the West Bengal chief minister as a tigress, Shiv Sena says her injured feet has scared the BJP.
