Mallika made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with director Govind Menons film Khwahish. However, she got recognition from Anurag Basus Murder released in 2004 alongside Emraan Hashmi.
Mallika was last seen in a comedy drama film 'RK/RKay' along with Rajat Kapoor, Kubra Sait, Ranvir Shorey, and Manu Rishi Chadha. Helmed by Rajat Kapoor, the film was released on July 22 this year
