Corb Lund speaks out against the UCP’s coal mining decision, stating not many people know about it. In a subsequent article, also referencing the rape of the eastern slopes of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, Elizabeth Williams reveals it’s staggering to her that so few Albertans are aware this is happening. Such arrogant disrespect and contempt for democratic process was revealed by Jason Kenney himself when he outlined his plan in the fall of 2018. His structural reform, he said, would be carried out by his party moving quickly; there would be no “bogging down” with public consultation on big issues.
