£1m campaign launched to help Prospect Hospice through crisis

A CAMPAIGN has been launched to help raise the £1m needed to plug a 40-year-old Swindon charity’s Covid funding gap. Prospect Hospice has kicked off its first fundraiser of the year, called Thanks A Million, after being hit hard by the pandemic. The Wroughton charity, which has been providing end-of-life care for four decades, has had to close its shops and cancel its fundraising events because of Covid-19. And CEO Irene Watkins is now urging the community to get behind the charity in order for them to deliver top-class services and support people suffering from terminal illnesses over the coming months.
