Bikramjeet was a retired army veteran who made his acting debut in 2003.
He starred in films like Page 3, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Aarakshan, Murder 2, 2 States and The Ghazi Attack among others.
He was last seen in Disney Plus Hotstar’s popular web series Special Ops.
Bollywood took to social media to mourn the demise.
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit on Twitter shared the news of his demise.
He wrote, “Sad to hear about the demise of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal this morning due to #Covid. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Heartfelt condolences to his family & near ones.”

On Friday, actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal who has appeared in several films, OTT and TV shows, breathed his last after suffering from COVID-19 complications at the age of 52.
The late actor made his Bollywood debut in 2003 after retiring from the Indian Army. He was a part of several hit films, including ‘Page 3’, ‘Aarakshan’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and ‘2 States’ among several others. His last film was ‘The Ghazi Attack starring Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu.
Mourning the loss of the actor, Neil Nitin Mukesh took to his Twitter handle and wrote, Extremely sad news . I’ve known Major Bikramjeet for so many years. He and I have worked on so many films together. The last being Bypass Road. Such a fantastic, encouraging and energetic human being he was and will always be remembered as. #RIP My dear friend will miss you.

New Delhi: Indian film and television actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal has died due to COVID-19 complications, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit confirmed on Saturday. He was 52.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Pandit confirmed the news and wrote, “Sad to hear about the demise of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal this morning due to #Covid. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Heartfelt condolences to his family & near ones. Om Shanti!”

Actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, who has appeared in many popular films like Page 3 and 2 States and has also been a part of popular television shows like Adaalat , died due to coronavirus-related complications on Saturday morning. He was 52.
The actor, who was admitted in a hospital in Mumbai, passed away on Saturday morning. He was admitted to hospital ten days ago at Seven Hills, he was later shifted to ICU as his condition worsened. He passed away today morning at around 5 am, Kanwarpal s close friend Himanshu Dadbhawala said.

Kanwarpal was a popular face on TV, films and web shows in India. His death was mourned by filmmaker Ashoke Pandit who posted a tribute to the late star on Twitter.
