Tamika moss spear headed the effort. I remember a couple years back when we discovered we had empty Public Housing units. We worked with thenmayor ed lee to come up with 200 million to rehabilitate those units. And because of those services, we were able to place 179 formerly homeless families in Public Housing, and so tamika moss, come on up [applause] thank you so much, mayor breed. Companys customers took part in the states Public Utilities commission. Pg e has the audacity to come here today, asking for money on top of the bailouts by raising our electricity and gas rates. Were requesting approximately 1. 1 billion additionally over our current revenues. More than half of that would be directly related to wildfire prevention. Pg e says that money will go in to install stronger poles and fire lines along high risk fire area, keeping fire lines clear of branches, and adding more than 600 hidef cameras in some of the hottest risk fire areas. We also want to make sure that every dollar ermarked for safety improvements is spent on just that. What is the cpucs plan to enforce these Maintenance Plans . How are you going to make sure that the money is going to safety and maintenance . Reporter those representing the cpuc say they cant answer that question at this time.
