thanks for joining us this hour. really happy to have you here. we have an interesting show tonight, and i m particularly glad you are here for it. we will go a ways back when allied soldiers came ashore on the coast of france on the beaches of normandy for the d- day invasion. they opened up a new western front against the nazis in europe , a shock to the germans. the operation, the d-day invasion relied on the element of surprise. and the germans really were shocked. they had been occupying france for four years at that point. they installed a collaborationist regime that they assembled from pro-fascist and pro-nazi organizations. there was a french resistance to the nazi rule and collaborationist s, but the nazis and their puppets you know, were definitely in charge. they were heading into year five of being in charge. they were really settled in, in france. and then, here comes this shock arrival, this invasion, ultimately millions of allied troops, landing on the beaches

warren and biden both soaring and both jumping significantly since the last time the poll came out in july. warren and sanders combined and that is a solid 39% and it trounces biden. who would trump rather run against scott? biden or warren? i don t know if he has a preference because i think, erin, he ll wind up running against whoever the nominee is, and they all come out for the same program and they ve raised their hands for the same liberal, socialist policies and they ve all come out for things that i think are far outside of mainstream american politics. so i don t think there is a preference. i think he s going get the democratic nominee and treat them all the exact same way because they all want to do the same stuff to the country which is open borders, abortion on demand and higher taxes and i think the president s got a good argument for re-election. all top five candidates are beating donald trump right now. that s another way of looking at it. thank you both so very
senator elizabeth warren here, whether voters support a 2% tax on wealth above $50 million. overall, 61% support that idea. that includes 75% of democrats, 57% of independents, 51% of republicans. a majority of republicans say they support this plan from elizabeth warren. yeah, i mean that s dramatic. so cautions, right. this wealth tax, which is a new idea in mainstream american politics, there haven t been a lot of attacks on it yet from republicans. it hasn t been branded as like, the warren tax, which will no doubt move things. people may not understand it. if you re used to hearing about marginal income tax rates of 20%, 30%, 40% and you hear a wealth tax of 2% you may think it s low, even though that s potentially a big amount. we ll see how the numbers move as the debate goes on. right now it s popular even with republicans. what are experts saying to
