After dropping points last minute to Derby County on Tuesday night, the Chairboys are back this afternoon and will be looking to right those wrongs against Millwall.
Ahead of the trip to South East London, Alicia Povey spoke to Omer of That Millwall Podcast to get the inside scoop on the Lions, who sit 11th in the Championship table.
Only the top four teams in the Championship have won more games than Millwall, and they seem to have built up some great momentum. Can you talk us through their recent form?
We’ve gone a tad under the radar in the last month; we’ve been the draw specialists of the season so far but we’ve found a way to turn those even games into three points. It kicked off at Huddersfield a month ago, changing to a new 5-3-2 setup and has stuck since. The last three games have been great for us, stringing together three important wins including a 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday, having been 1-0 early on.

Millwall players will link arms but not take the knee at QPR match tonight

Millwall players will not ‘take the knee’ for their Championship fixture with Queens Park Rangers tonight – instead the players will stand arm-in-arm to show of “solidarity for football’s fight against discrimination.”
This comes after sections of the 2,000 supporters at The Den could be heard booing their players taking the knee at the first game attended by fans against Derby County on Saturday.
Millwall and their opponents QPR – who decided against taking the knee back in September – came to a joint decision last night ahead of what might become an emotive occasion. QPR’s Les Ferdinand, the only black director of football in the English Football League, had previously said the gesture had become “diluted” and “little more than good PR”.
