A judge should have experience in the court room | Opinion Posted May 11, 2021 By Michelle Sibert As a prosecutor, I strive to seek justice, respond with compassion, uphold victims’ rights, and advocate for those who cannot do so for themselves. As judge, I promise to use my experience as a trial attorney to assure that everyone in my courtroom is afforded a fair opportunity to be heard and treated with respect. I promise to follow the law and abide by the PA and U.S. Constitutions. My name is Michelle Sibert, and I am running for Judge for the Court of Common Pleas here in Cumberland County. Dickinson School of Law brought me to Cumberland County in 1995, and for over 20 years I have served the residents of Cumberland County. My family and I serve our Country, our State, our County, and our Community. My husband of 20 years, Craig Sibert, served our Country as a United States Marine, and he currently serves this Commonwealth as a State Parole Officer.
