Going to Disney World was exciting for Sophia Lawrence, but meeting an acclaimed pastry chef took the vacation to another level for the 11-year-old.
In February, Lawrence and members of her family took a trip made possible by the Magical Moments Foundation, a new nonprofit organization based in Columbus that provides memorable experiences for children with facial differences.
Sophia was born with a cleft lip and palate.
As part of her experience, Magical Moments not only sent the Westerville family to Disney, but arranged for Lawrence and her mother to spend time with chef Rabii Saber at the Four Seasons Resort located on the Disney grounds in Orlando. Florida.
