Four people, including an infant, are in critical condition after a crash involving several vehicles and a city bus in Phoenix on Monday evening.
The Phoenix Fire Department said there was a three-vehicle crash including a city bus near 40th Street and McDowell Road.
A 3-week-old infant, a 19-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were transported to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Department.
The injuries of the involved driver and occupants, including the infant, are not life-threatening, according to Phoenix Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Maggie Cox. The collision was caused by one of the vehicles failing to yield while turning left, she said.

PHOENIX - A man has been arrested after a woman died following a two-car crash at a
west Phoenix intersection that was reportedly caused by illegal street racing.
According to Phoenix
Police, the crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. on May 2 at 91st Avenue and Indian School Road when a 2017 Infinity Q50 that was driven by 34-year-old Andrew Friedlander was speeding and crashed into a Jeep.
Woman hit, killed, in apparent street racing incident
PHOENIX (KPHO KTVK) A woman is dead after being hit by a car that was reportedly racing another car late Sunday night in Phoenix.
The crash occurred in the intersection of 91st Avenue and Indian School Road in west Phoenix around 9:30 p.m. According to Phoenix Fire Captain Kenny Overton, this crash involved two cars and one of them caught on fire. A bystander pulled the unconscious woman from her SUV and began performing CPR.
Overton says when fire crews arrived at the scene, they quickly put the fire out and transported the woman, later identified as 28-year-old Charissa Coleman to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
Burglary turns into Phoenix barricade situation inside apartment

At around 6:20 p.m., officers responded to reports of a home being burglarized near
35th and Glenrosa avenues, says Sgt. Maggie Cox with the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers got near where the reported burglary was happening and saw the suspect running away.
He went inside an apartment and then barricaded himself, Cox says. It s unknown if it s his apartment. The suspect has been taken into police custody without incident, Cox says.

Authorities are on the lookout for a man they said carjacked a 17-year-old girl on Tuesday at an elementary school near Cactus Road and 19th Avenue.
Officers with the Phoenix Police Department just after 8 a.m. initially responded to a neighborhood near Cactus Road and 23rd Avenue after receiving a report of a suspicious pickup truck in the area, said Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Maggie Cox.
The caller told police two people appeared to be asleep in the pickup truck, Cox said.
When contacted by police, the pickup truck moved backward into a police vehicle and then forward into a cement fence a couple of times, Cox said. No officers were injured.
