The Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- anime TV series is an original story co-written by Re:ZERO creator Tappei Nagatsuki and scriptwriter Eiji Umehara. Never mind when will Vivy Season 2 come out; the real question is if there will be a Vivy sequel at all.
The Vivy anime is being produced by animation company WIT Studio, best known for producing the Attack On Titan anime series (but not Attack On Titan Season 4), Netflix’s The Great Pretender anime, and the Vinland Saga anime (the director has repeatedly teased Vinland Saga Season 2).
Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the manga in English, and it describes the story:
Kinji, who lacks any kind of work ethic, is a layabout in his modern life. One day, he finds himself transported to another world–but not in a grand fantasy of a hero welcomed with open arms. He s immediately shoved into a terrible job! Now enslaved by an evil mining company in a fantasy world, Kinji s about to really learn the meaning of hard work!

We noted back in May 2020 that there’s a series that is shaping up to end relatively soon with the Seven Seas Entertainment manga
The Dungeon of Black Company by Youhei Yasumura. Coming from the artist of the Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon manga, Seven Seas picked it up in 2017 but it’s been running since 2016 through the Mag Comi site. With five volumes out (and four in English), we learned that the property is entering its climax run, which usually signifies its ending storyline, but that hasn’t had a hard date set yet and could still go on for a bit.
