My name is greg hennessy. Im one of the people who gives the school tours, im in charge of the world war ii section. This area represents the type of buildings that we quickly put up at the start of world war ii. The reason why we had to quickly put them up was that we were not prepared for. The United States military had less than 350,000 soldiers at the outbreak of world war ii. Thats the army, navy and marine combined. No air force. By the end of the war we had about 17 Million People in service. To do that, we portraying centers all over the country to expand some of the force that we had. We had to build Training Centers all over the country and these are the types of buildings that are represented. If you notice, this is a friend of mine. His name is richard. Youve written more than half of our total number i think. So we have a lot of experience in the genre. We have obviously been drawn to it and have an affinity for it some way or another.
