GODFREY A Targeted Job Fair is planned June 16 at Lewis and Clark Community College to match students and community residents with Riverbend employers searching for servers, dishwashers, bartenders and other hospitality industry workers.
On Friday, Illinois will fully reopen from COVID-19, with occupancy limitations removed for restaurants, bars and other public venues. According to Indeed.com, job postings nationwide at food-services businesses were 25% above pre-pandemic levels at the end of May.
The L&C Career and Veteran Services has joined forces with Madison County Employment and Training and the RiverBend Growth Association to bring employers and job seekers together 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, in The Commons on the college’s Godfrey Campus.
