Rivers, creeks, and streams across the region are as full as theyve been in a long time. And this was a common sight today. Downed trees as high winds swept through the bay area. Lets start with chief meteorologist Brittney Shipp. She has details on where the storm is right now. This storm really packed a punch. Was almost a foot of rainfall in parts of our regions in the north bay. Lets take a look at rainfall totals. Preimpressive. Close to 12 inches of rain. Saratoga come almost 9 inches. Close to 8 inches in pacifica. San francisco, 2 inches. If youre closer to oakland, 2 inches. San jose, an inch and a half but it really depends on where you are and the bullseye was mainly over the santa cruz mountains. In our Higher Elevations and our northbay zone, i want to back up the radar. Jess boxes this non stop rain so bad that it triggered an emergency call specifically right now in napa, worst case scenario, we have a thunderstorm passing through with heavy rain, possibly some isolated hail. This will help the napa river to continue to rise for the next two to four hours. We do expect the napa river in downtown napa to crest 26. 5 feet by 7 00 a. M.
