This should once again be an exciting off-season for the team. A handful of key players are impending free agents, and the front office finally (hopefully?) realizes that the team is in rebuild mode and at least a year or two away from being competitive. While it s a shame they didn t come to this realization earlier, when they could ve netted some high- or mid-round draft picks for their aging core, the key building blocks appear to now be in place on offense and, well, on defense, things can only improve (hard to get much worse when you re 28th in the league).
